Intergenerational Mission Lunch

The University United Methodist Church Mission Committee is organizing an Intergenerational Mission Lunch on July 20 at 11 a.m., immediately following the 10 a.m. worship service . 

During the lunch, we will assemble oral hygiene kits, each containing a toothbrush and a tube of  toothpaste. The kits will be delivered to the Capital Area Alliance for the Homeless, and will be distributed to our homeless brothers and sisters visiting the cooling station at the One Stop Center, located on North 17th Street. 

We are asking that folks please bring a toothbrush and a tube of toothpaste for each member of your family that will be participating. Also, our meal will be a potluck this time. The Foundations Sunday School Class will generously be providing a main dish for the meal, so we ask that each family bring a side dish to share.

If you've ever attended one of UUMCs' Mission Meals, you know how much fun we have fellowshipping with one another while doing something meaningful for others.
