UMPA Summer Camps
A diverse, affordable camp experience for children who have completed K through 8th
Offering nine weeks of summer fun on the LSU campus
When summer comes, school may be out, but life moves on! That’s why so many Baton Rouge area families turn to University UMC Preschool & After School Summer Camps for a safe, convenient place where kids can make friends and enjoy a wide variety of educational activities.
We keep it fun by building camp content around a different theme each week, from sports and storytelling to art, animals and adventure. Our goal is to help kids continue to develop their social skills and spark curiosity about the world around them. We have breakfast, lunch and snacks together, and take walking field trips across the LSU campus.

Key Camp Information
- Camp weeks begin Monday, June 2 and end Friday, August 1st, running from (times here) each weekday
- Safe, secure environment with trained and experienced camp staff
- Children completing K-8th grade for the 2024-25 school year may attend 2025 summer camps
- Current tuition: $135 per camp week, plus one-time non-refundable $50 enrollment fee
- Breakfast, lunch and snacks provided daily
- Themed each week for more engagement and to encourage creative play
- Features walking field trips to various attractions on the LSU campus, from visiting Mike the Tiger to seeing plays to touring sports facilities
- Sponsored by University United Methodist Church, a community of grace, hope and unconditional love
