At UUMC we strive to teach our children about their wonderful loving creator, the saving grace of Jesus Christ, and the ever present comfort of the Holy Ghost. We believe as it is written in Proverbs 22:6, “Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray.”

All of the children’s classes use Methodist based curriculum. The younger children, ages 3 to third grade, use the “Deep Blue” curriculum, which helps the children dive into God’s word and learn how to live as disciples of Jesus. The older kids, 4th and 5th graders, use “Bible Story Basics” which focuses on Bible stories and biblical literacy, Bible Story Basics helps kids realize that the Bible is more than a history book and that it’s relevant to their lives today.
