UUMC’s Youth Ministry exists to provide youth a safe, inclusive, and fun community where they can grow spiritually, develop healthy relationships, and serve others.
The youth program at UUMC welcomes and includes all youth (6th-12th grade) and provides a safe place for them to develop spiritually and emotionally in an environment filled with love and fun. Through worship, music, age-appropriate lessons, and the development of personal relationships with our youth, we help them learn to serve others while supporting each other the way that Christ taught us.
Sunday mornings, 9:45am-10:45am in the youth wing
This time is for us to dig deeper into Christian teaching and practices to encourage growth on our discipleship journey. The curriculum directly ties into the sermon series that is taught in worship to the whole congregation in a way that engages our teens.
Sunday evenings, 4:30pm-6:00pm in the youth wing
This time is for us to foster community. We will share a meal, share laughs, and also make memories. The activities will promote a mix of fun but also encourage our teens to lean into who God has called them to be.
This event is open to youth who are entering 7th-12th grade in the Fall of ’23. Email youth@universitymethodist.org for more information.
