Each year our Baton Rouge Methodist churches combine efforts to build a Habitat for Humanity home, or two, and UUMC has been a big part of that success.

Join us October 21st, 2023 for 7:45am at 1144 Progress Street, Baton Rouge, LA. This is an amazing mission opportunity for children 16 years of older who are seeking any volunteer hours for the school year. We will provide a lunch for all UUMC volunteers as well, so bring your hammers and hunger for Habitat Build 2023! You can sign up to volunteer online in the link below. Financial pledges to the construction fund provide funding for almost all of the material that is needed. Donations can be made Habitat through our church. We always need volunteers to swing hammers or paint brushes, provide meals for the volunteers and mentor our Habitat family as they work with us on their new homes.
