UUMC Build Day

Each year our Baton Rouge Methodist churches combine efforts to build a Habitat for Humanity home, or two, and UUMC has been a big part of that success.

This is an amazing mission opportunity for children 16 years of older who are seeking any volunteer hours for the school year. We will provide a lunch for all UUMC volunteers as well, so bring your hammers and hunger for Habitat Build 2024! You can sign up to volunteer online in the link below. The habitat waiver, Volunteer and Safety Information, along with The Habitat Facts can also be found in the links below. We are looking forward to seeing all of you!

Donations

Financial pledges to the construction fund provide funding for almost all of the material that is needed. Donations can be made Habitat through our church. We always need volunteers to swing hammers or paint brushes, provide meals for the volunteers and mentor our Habitat family as they work with us on their new homes.

If you would like more information on volunteering or making a monetary donation, please contact the church office by calling 225-344-0343.
