Hope Ministries
Every First Sunday our church collects food for the HOPE Ministries Client Choice Food Pantry. Roughly 15,000 people are fed each year through HOPE’s Client Choice Food Pantry. Get involved.

First Sunday Food Drive For Hope Ministries
HOPE Ministries operates a Family Mentoring Program that helps families at-risk for homelessness reach stability, a workshop series that helps people living in poverty develop a personalized action plan for becoming independent, and a Client Choice Food Pantry that provides supplemental groceries in a dignified, grocery store-like setting.
Our church currently organizes the collection and delivery of food items to HOPE Ministries, serving the poor of North Baton Rouge. Church members bring donations of food on First Sundays; food drive volunteers then deliver the items. A group of volunteers currently works every third Wednesday at the HOPE Ministries Food Pantry. Roughly 15,000 people are fed each year through HOPE’s Client Choice Food Pantry and serves those in the 70805 zip code. The grocery store setting creates an atmosphere of dignity by allowing clients to select food that meets the nutritional and health needs of their families.
If you would be interested in joining in this great mission, please bring shelf stable food to our church each first Sunday of the month and drop it off in our Fellowship Hall or call the church office at 225-344-0343 so we can get you in touch with our Mission Team!
